120th anniversary of Altneuland

120th anniversary of Altneuland featuring a literary discussion with Bruno Roche on Herzl’s novel co-hosted by the European Union Delegation to the United Nations in New York

European Union Delegation to the United Nations in New York

The discussion between Bruno Roche and Grégory Lafitte on Altneuland launched the Interlocutions series of the New Jewish Review / Nouvelle Revue juive—a publication of the Forum for Cultural Diplomacy modeled after the 1920s Revue juive of Albert Cohen, Sigmund Freud and Albert Einstein. Serving as the journal of the Group of Friends of the Jewish Culture, it aims at exploring worldwide, national and language-specific Jewish life, history, and culture in a broad sense, and how these vitally contributed and are now intertwined with the cultures of the UN Member States, in particular through essays, literature, music, and historical literary texts. The Review will be available in print and on the Forum’s website, www.f4cd.org.
